Community Facilities

Our Facility

The Main Auditorium is suitable for conferences, large training events, weddings and funerals. It comes setup with approx 250 chairs.  These chairs are able to be moved if required to accommodate tables and alternate layouts (conditions and fees apply)

Included with the room

  • Seating for 250
  • 2 x wireless microphones, computer sound & projector (self managed)
  • You can either plug in your own laptop or utilize our computer (Mac – You will need to bring your own PPT on a USB stick to use.)
  • Use of other stage and sound equipment is not included in the hireage of this room.

Hireage Fees

  • GEBC/Visionwest Staff and Volunteers (Non work event) – Koha
  • All other bookings – $150/hr upto a max of $750/day
  • Additional sound equipment will incur additional charges.  Please make an enquiry.
  • Chair resetting fee
The Crèche is located offthe back of the Main Auditorium and is suitable for use as a Crèche =, or a small informal meeting room.

Included with the room

  • Seating for 10
  • Mounted TV and HDMI Cable.  You will need to bring your own device to plug in via HDMI.

The Conference Room is located between the Crèche and the Zone.
Note: the Conference Room is only available for booking outside standard business hours.

  • Conference Table

The Zone is the main room booking in our building. It is suitable for almost any type of event. The Zone can be split into Zone 1 and Zone 2 by a removable dividing wall offering multiple options for room configuration. The lower ceiling of Zone 2 allows for a more

  • Seating for 23 (Zone A) and 5 (Zone B)
  • Room Capacity in Zone A is 40 and Zone B is 20 (Additional seating is available)
  • 2 x Trestle Tables
  • Mounted TV and HDMI Cable.  You will need to bring your own device to plug in via HDMI.
  • DVD Player.
  • Sound System with 3.5mm plug.

The Café and Deck is a communal space for all to use.  Although generally not available for booking during business hours, it is a great space for an informal get together, birthday party or an other occasion.
