What You Do

Have your child sit across from you. Take turns rolling the ball back and forth and say, “Thank You, God,” each time you pass the ball. Repeat several times. For older children, add something to the sen-tence you are thankful for. Say, “Thank You, God, for [pizza],” as you roll the ball.
Say, “I am so excited to play with you! When I roll the ball, I will say, ‘Thank You, God.’ When you roll the ball back to me, you say the same thing. Are you ready?’ (Pause and do activity.) Great job!
“We can tell God thank You each and every day! God gives us food, family, people, and a world full of good things because God is good! Who is good? God is good!”

 “Dear God, We praise You because You are good! Thank You for all you give us each and every day. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
