Discipleship Pathway

At GEBC we have created a Discipleship Pathway to assist you to strengthen and grow your faith and to help you to disciple others too.

What is a Discipleship pathway?   A way of ensuring that we are providing the right support at the right level for the purpose of growing dynamic disciples.

What it isn’t?  A cloning device, a straight line, a way of boxing people, a program to complete.

Why?    People take a long time to learn and develop, disciples don’t just happen, so we need intentionality and an ongoing pathway.

What steps can you take?

Possible steps include:

  • A consultation with one of the Pastoral staff.
  • Joining a Life group.
  • Serving on one of our teams or volunteering in some capacity.
  • Participating in courses when they come up.
  • Making use of the resources available at GEBC on the Discipleship Pathway Display.
  • Above all, make time for God and for His Word, both corporately and individually.
